Those far away places where I long to be
Waves along the shoreline and canoes upon the beach
And around the stones the temple bones
Tutu speaks to me
To bind the heart, to never part
From your village by the sea

Once again the longing for living the gentle life
Now my heart tenderly sighs from the dawn til night
Filled with all the dreams of a life time and a memory
Sing me a song of old Hawai`i
